Phantom Debt Collectors steal your money

I am still seeing an big problem with fly by night debt collectors who purchase very old debt and then violate every collection law while trying to get your money. The often are one man operations using fake names, bogus companies that are not registered, and PO boxes. They makes all kinds of threats like they are about to file a lawsuit which 99% of time are lies. Do not hand your money or give them your bank account information!
